Haft Tanan Mourning Place

Karim Khan Zand built a beautiful edifice in a garden at the foot of the Chehel Maqam Mountain. There are seven tombs in this place that is for which the present name stands for, meaning Seven Bodies.
Haft Tanan Museum which is left from the Zand period is situated in the middle of a green nice garden. This complex includes a main building, a large yard and a citrus grove garden. In Spring, you can enjoy the smell of citrus blossoms.
Seven stone tombs are found which may be related to the name Haft Tanan (seven bodies). After Zand period, the garden was used as a park for a long time. This complex is well preserved.

“if you had enough time”

this place goes back to 250 years ago. although the stones in there are very ancient although they not very good preserved.this place is on the way to Saa'di tomb. it is on the north oart of Hafez tomb and you can even walk to find this place. there are some old photos on the wall and some tombs belong to some mystics who were living in that place. its not a big place and it just take 20 min max to take your photos.
